what instacart won't tell you
Blog site to answer questions about getting into gig jobs, news about jobs, stories and tips about working gig jobs.
Description
This site is meant to help gig workers share lessons learned from experience, Reddit stories, and other sources. It’s also meant to sell some helpful hints to create an income stream from the site.
Purpose
This site is meant to help gig workers share lessons learned from experience, Reddit stories, and other sources. It’s also meant to sell some helpful hints to create an income stream from the site.
Challenges
It had to be set up quickly, initially, to take advantage of the COVID19 surge in Instacart and other d usage, and eventually, all delivery-type gig jobs. It was created in about 10 days and was added to after that. Instacart must have found it because they sent me a cease and desist letter for using the Instacart name!

Key Insights
Creating content is the hardest part of a blog. The development was fairly fast but then the booklets had to be created and to comb through Reddit posts and other news of interests for the gig-worker.
WooCommerce had to be set up with lots of financial information that had to be set up for taking payments and putting into a bank account.
